Pegasus Education Centre (formerly known as KinderWorld Education Centre) aims to enhance the development of knowledge, skills and the level of performances of early childhood educators in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region. Our Management team has more than 20 years experience in pre-school education services and teacher training. We have also aggressively moved on to forge academic alliances with prestigious leading institutions in Australia, United Kingdom and America for Professional Training in Early Childhood.

Pegasus Education Centre is one of the first eight training providers to be approved by the Ministry of Education (MOE), Singapore and Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), Singapore to conduct pre-school training programmes in the year 2001. In 2002, KinderWorld was the first training provider to be appointed by NTUC-Skills Development Department, Singapore, to train 300 applicants under the Surrogate Employer Programme.

Pegasus Education Centre has trained over 2000 teachers since 1999 in the following courses as accredited by the Pre-School Qualifications Accreditation Committee (PQAC):

•    Diploma in Pre-School Education - Teaching
•    Diploma in Pre-School Education - Leadership

Job Placement Services for Graduates

Pegasus Education Centre has set up an employment network that will provide job placement services for our graduates upon successful completion of their training. We have linked up with various childcare centers and kindergartens in Singapore, as well as overseas. In addition, our graduates are also given opportunities to work overseas in our international kindergartens and schools if they are keen to take up the challenge of working overseas.

Collaboration with Yayasan Mendaki

Yayasan Mendaki is a self-help group dedicated to the empowerment of the disadvantaged of the Malay/Muslim community through excellence in education. Yayasan Mendaki was established 25 years ago by Malay/Muslim community leaders in partnership with the Singapore Government.

In 2003, Pegasus Education Centre was appointed by Yayasan Mendaki to upgrade members of the Malay/Muslim community by training them in our Early Childhood Courses under the Surrogate Employer Scheme (SES). Up todate, Pegasus Education Centre has trained a total of 300 students in the Certificate in Pre-School teaching (CPT) and Diploma in Pre-School Education- Teaching (DPET) programmes.
