Singapore International School (SIS)

Singapore International School (SIS) with links to various schools in Singapore and Australia, is the first school in Vietnam to provide students with an international primary and secondary curriculum drawn from both the Singapore and Australian curriculums. The KinderWorld Group of Schools are the only International Schools to offer Chinese as a Foreign Language.

Our curriculum is largely based on criteria set out by the Ministry of Education, Singapore and a range of  key learning areas of the Australian curriculum and then modified for our international student community. The International Programme incorporates the GAC Certificate in the final year of study which provides access to over 100 Universities worldwide.

Our qualified academic staff originate from various English native-speaking and Asian countries. They specialize in conducting creative student-centered lessons keeping to the high standards of an International education.

Our schools challenge young minds to enjoy learning by making meaningful connections through group work and multi-media assignments, supplemented with experiential learning for a highly dynamic and multi-cultural world of tomorrow.

Integrated Schools

Specially developed for Vietnamese students, our Integrated Primary and Junior High School Programme combines the best in Vietnam's education, retaining the core subjects namely Vietnamese, Maths, Science and Moral & Humanity.

Vietnamese students, depending on their specific education level, will be taught by qualified expatriate teachers in a range of key learning areas of the International curriculum - English, Proficiency Programe (EPP) Studies of Society and The Enviromment (SOSE), Information & Communication Technolory (ICT), Health and Physical Education (HPE) and Chiese as a Foreign Language.

The above will be complemented by subjects, such as English as a Second Language (ESL).

Singapore International Primary School Examination (iPSLE)

In April 2005, KinderWorld was appointed as a Designated Overseas Agent by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board to conduct the Singapore International Primary School Examination (iPSLE). Students can use the results of the iPSLE to seek admission to secondary schools in Singapore or for gaining entry into a higher school of learning in other English speaking countries. KinderWorld Group will provide the necessary overseas study consultancy service.

Session Hours

· Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm
· After School Enrichment Programme 3.30 pm to 4.30pm

# Attendance days are Monday to Friday, according to the school calendar and with the exception of the listed holidays.
