KinderWorld is pleased to announce once again that the Asia Pacific Mathematical Olympiad for Primary Schools (APMOPS 2010) will be co-hosted in Vietnam by KinderWorld Group and Hwa Chong Institution of Singapore. Last year (2009) was the first time APMOPS was held in Vietnam. KinderWorld Group is delighted to continue as co-host with Hwa Chong Institution to nominate outstanding participants of Vietnam for APMOPS 2010.

Hwa Chong Institution of Singapore is a premier independent school with a rich history of 90 years. The school has the highest Oxford University and Cambridge University admission rate in Singapore and has the most number of awardees of the Singapore President’s Scholarship. The Asia Pacific Mathematical Olympiad for Primary Schools (APMOPS) is a prestigious event whereby participants from countries in the Asia-Pacific region including Australia, India, Singapore, China, New Zealand and Vietnam get the opportunity to interact and compete with top mathematics geniuses.

There are two rounds in the APMOPS 2010. The First Round will be held at KinderWorld’s Singapore International School campuses in Hanoi, Hue, Binh Duong, and Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday 24 April 2010.

Participants who are among the top qualifiers in the Asia Pacific region will be invited by Hwa Chong Institution to participate in the Invitation Round and Prize Presentation Ceremony to be held on Saturday 29 May 2010 at Hwa Chong Institution in Singapore. During the Invitation Round, participants will have the opportunity to interact and compete with top mathematics geniuses from countries in the Asia Pacific region.
