Seminar on “Business Opportunities in Can Tho City of Vietnam” in Singapore – 29 May 2019

A seminar on “Business Opportunities in Can Tho City of Vietnam” was organized on 29 May 2019 in Singapore by the Can Tho authorities led by the Chairman of the People’s Council – Mr Pham Van Hieu. The event was graced by Mdm. Tao Thi Thanh Huong – the Vietnam Ambassador to Singapore. As one of the first Foreign Direct investor in education in Can Tho, Mr Ricky Tan – Chairman of KinderWorld International Group was invited to share about the Group’s establishment of Singapore International School (SIS) and their investment journey in Can Tho.

SIS @ Can Tho which commenced operations in August 2018, is the fifteenth campus developed by KinderWorld International Group – the largest owner-operator of foreign-invested international schools in Vietnam. The first phase consists of classrooms, function rooms, library, computer rooms, laboratories, multi-purpose hall and football field. When fully completed, SIS @ Can Tho which sits on a land site of 2.5ha will be able to provide places for 1,500 students.

The Group’s presence will create a positive contribution to the education scene of the local community in Can Tho City and the Mekong Delta region.
